The Education Committee's goal is to provide for the education needs of the society members and future members of the society. Each year we organize a Level I review course for candidates. This involves finding qualified and capable instructors, locations and meeting time, evaluation of instruction, ordering materials and assisting candidates with other needs. We also help organize Level II and III candidates into study groups and assist them in their exam preparation.
The Education Committee also sponsors a breakfast each year for area candidates to introduce them to the society and begin preparations for the following year. In the future, we will work with the Programs Committee to develop programs to meet the continuing education requirements of society members and meet other education needs.
If you are interested in helping with these programs, please contact Education@CFASouthFlorida.org. |
